S. M. Khaled Hossain is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Army Institute of Business Administration (AIBA), Savar (Affiliated Institute of Bangladesh University of Professionals- BUP). He is a PhD candidate at the Department of Accounting & Information Systems, Jagannath University. He earned his MBA and BBA degrees with a concentration in Accounting and Information Systems (AIS) from Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University. He was awarded the Chancellor’s Gold Medal for his academic excellence. Before joining AIBA, he served in several universities, including City University, Daffodil International University, and Eastern University. The significant courses taught by him include Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Economics etc. Mr. Hossain is interested in empirical research in accounting, focusing on areas such as Corporate Governance, Risk Reporting, Human Resource Accounting, Green Accounting, Sustainability Accounting, etc. He has published two books and two dozen research articles from national and international journals indexed in Scopus, ABDC, WoS, etc. Mr. Hossain is an Associate Member of the Virtual Institute of UNCTAD, Switzerland, and a Fellow Member of the ISDS Society, Japan. He is also the Founding Member of the Bangladesh Business Research Foundation (BBRF). Currently, he is working as an Editorial Board Member and Reviewer of Nineteen international and national journals, including Review of International Business and Strategy (Emerald Publishing), PSU Research Review (Emerald Publishing), Global Business Review (Sage Publishing), Asia-Pacific Journal of Management Research and Innovation (Sage Publishing), FIIB Business Review (Sage Publishing), Sage Open and so forth.
