Major Md Jashim Uddin, SUP (Retd) joined in Army in 1993 after completion of graduation under Dhaka University. He did many mandatory military courses in home and abroad, specially to be mentioned, Crisis management course in Louisiana, USA in 2002 and Border management course in Gwalior, India in 2018. He has also specialization on field engineering, mechanical transport and counter improvised explosive device. He was an Army Medal of Excellence recipient. He served in UN peace keeping and peace enforcement mission twice, firstly in Ivory-coast and secondly in Central African Republic and he received Force Commanders commendation for his outstanding contribution in Central African Republic. He did his MBA from AIBA Savar, MPCHRS and MPhil (fellow) from BUP. He participated in many national and international conferences. After retirement he served in a service organization for a short duration and presently, he is in this institution as deputy director admin & finance. He is highly energetic, dynamic and a hugely travel loving person having experiences of travelling countries in North America, UK, ME, Africa, and South Asia.
